What is your drawing process like?

My creative process begins with choosing a theme or concept to illustrate. From there, I break it down into keywords and visual elements that allow me to create a representation using metaphors and symbolism. Next, I develop the sketch, exploring the composition and adding, modifying, or removing details. Finally, I define the color palette, the essence, and the message I wish to convey through the illustration.

When and why did you start drawing?

I began drawing during my school years, as it allowed me to express my feelings and my inner world, helping me understand my essence as a person and an artist. In this way, drawing and painting became a means to communicate emotions, create stories, and share my own artistic world with others.

What or who is your biggest inspiration?

My greatest inspiration comes from my inner world—my emotions, my imagination, and my dreams. I am interested in exploring what emerges from the subconscious and transforming it into images, symbols, and metaphors that allow me to create characters and express feelings.

How has your art style evolved over time in your opinion?

I believe my art has evolved naturally through practice and experimentation. Over time, I have gained greater confidence in my use of color, brushwork, expression, and the freedom of my lines, as well as in the way I represent and arrange each element within a composition. However, my artistic process continues to evolve, and I am still learning and discovering new possibilities within my own artistic style.

What are your dreams for the future as an artist?

My dream is to continue growing as an artist and share my work with more people around the world. I would love to create art that inspires others, participate in meaningful projects, and turn my passion into something that allows me to keep creating and expressing myself.

Share a fun anecdote from your art journey!

I don't recall any specific instance, but when painting on canvas or paper—using watercolors and acrylics in my case—I tend to mix up the container I dip my brush into with the one I’m drinking from, whether it’s coffee or something similar. These things happen when you are completely focused.

What is your favorite drawing you've ever made?

It is difficult for me to choose just one, as each illustration represents a different moment in my artistic journey. However, I feel especially drawn to the works in which I believe I achieved greater freedom and fluidity in my lines and brushwork, as well as in the blending and use of color, successfully conveying the emotion or message I wanted to express.
